Day Camp Experience

at Lake LBJ​

Beyond the excitement of summer activities, camp is a transformative space to nurture skills, forge friendships, and create memories.

​

  • Located at Boat Town in Kingsland, Texas.

  • Daily lunch is provided at the Boat Town Burger Bar.

  • Summer camp sessions for campers ages 7 to 15.

  • Swimming, games, and snack breaks are provided to keep campers cooled off and refreshed.

  • No wakeboarding or wakesurfing experience needed.

  • Wakeboards, surf boards, life jackets, and all equipment will be provided. Campers may bring their own equipment.

Lake LBJ Day Camp

Typical Day on the Lake:

 

8:30 am - Camper drop off. Find your group. Sun Screen. 

 

8:45 am - Daily lesson. Water safety discussion. Warm-up and Stretching. 

 

9:00 am - Morning activity on boats. Swim and snack breaks. 

​

12:00 pm - Afternoon half day camper drop off.

​

12:05 pm - Lunch at the Boat Town Burger Bar. Announcements.  Sunscreen.

​

12:20 pm - Morning half day camper pick up. 

​

12:30 pm - Afternoon activity on boats. Swim and snack breaks.

 

3:30 pm - Camper pick up.

Typical Day

Day Camp Sessions & Rates:

8:30 am to 3:30 pm

​Full Day Sessions run Monday through Friday. Each day, full-day campers participate in a morning and afternoon activity period. Throughout the week campers alternate activity periods between wakeboard and wakesurf instruction to swimming, games, and tubing.

Recommended Packing List:​

  • Swimsuit (Please arrive dressed for the lake)

  • Day bag or Backpack

  • Sunscreen

  • Water bottle

  • Towel

  • Hat

  • Rashguard or sun-protective shirt

  • Light sweatshirt (Overcast days can be chilly after being in the water)

  • Personal wakeboard, wakesurf, life jacket, and riding equipment (OPTIONAL)

  • NO PHONES ALLOWED AT CAMP

  • Please leave VALUABLES at home, you will not need them in the water

Summer Camp Requirements:

  • MUST have good swimming skills and be COMFORTABLE in water

  • Campers with food allergies, please contact camp staff or pack their lunch
