LEARN TO FLY!
What is the Lift eFoil?
The Lift eFoil is a personal watercraft like no other. Riding the eFoil (electric foil surf board) is often described as an experience that is a mix of surfing, flying, and snowboarding. The eFoil uses an advanced lithium-ion battery to power a silent electric motor that’s mounted on an all-carbon-fiber hydrofoil. Controlled by a wireless Bluetooth hand remote, it allows you to ride for over an hour at speeds up to 25 mph.
The eFoil is for everyone! From total beginners looking for a fun experience to top athletes who are seeking their next thrill. We recommend the eFoil for riders 13 years old and up, who weigh less than 260 pounds.

Get up on the eFoil
1. Ground School
Starting on land we teach you about the equipment and hand remote.
We take time to discuss riding positions and practice them on the ground.
2. Belly Boarding
We carry the board in the water for you and help you get acclimated to the board in the water.
We set your hand remote to 50% speed so you can master throttle control, having a great time with no fear!
You practice cruising around on your belly, familiarizing yourself with the hand remote.
This is very fun! Doing this will inspire confidence for the next steps.
Now you practice transitioning from your belly to your knees.
During this step, you will get the board up on plane (cruising on top of the water).
You can begin to turn and practice steering the board.
Continued practice of throttle control in this step will be important for future steps.
4. Standing Up
Once you feel comfortable steering, holding speed, and keeping the board on plane it's time to transition to your feet.
You will place your front hand on the nose of the board, slowly transferring your weight from your front hand to standing up off your front foot.
You will practice standing while keeping the board on the water.
This position will become your home base: a safe place to return to between flights to adjust footing or take a rest.
5. Lift Off
Finally, you're ready to fly!
Holding steady speed you transfer your weight from your front foot to your back foot and experience flight.
You practice “touch and go” lifting off to fly for a few seconds and then returning the board to the water. Until you desire to just keep flying.
Lastly, you can experiment with turning and carving!
